Keto Diet Weight Loss Made Easy: Scientists are now recommending THIS diet

Diet trends come and go. And every diet wants to be the best. Until one day it turns out that it just doesn’t meet the needs of our organism and she is unhealthy in the long run. After that, people who actually wanted to lose weight struggle with the yo-yo effect because they put the pounds back on their hips faster than they lost them.

Lose weight? Yes, but please with ketones

Do you have any experience with dieting or losing weight? Then you know for sure what we’re talking about here. But that should be the end of it now. At least that’s what researchers at Harvard University say. Because they suspect there’s a certain type of diet that you then easily maintain your weight: the ketone diet. Because obviously the feeling of hunger is suppressed in ketogenic diets. And researchers at Harvard Medical School want to prove this with their study starting next summer.

Study: Which diet is best for weight loss?

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, the study is proceeding as follows:

  • 25 overweight and obese people as test subjects

  • The body values are checked very precisely

  • The test subjects had to lose 15 percent of their body weight through a calorie-restricted diet.

Those who achieve the goal are divided into one of three diet groups:

  1. Low fat, high carbohydrates, low sugar

  2. Low fat, high carbohydrates, high sugar

  3. Lots of fat, few carbohydrates, little sugar – so on a ketogenic basis

Each group gets the same amount of calories. Energy consumption and changes in body fat percentage are precisely documented. From the recordings, the researchers want to find out whether one of the diets has a changing effect on the metabolism.

Lose weight without the yo-yo effect

The most difficult time during a diet is the one that follows weight loss. The feeling of hunger is greatest here, but the metabolism is slow. The consequence of this is the dreaded yo-yo effect, which often occurs at this time. However, the researchers at Harvard Medical School are relatively certain: only the subjects in the keto diet group will maintain their weight during this phase. That’s obviously because this diet can boost what’s known as ketosis — the key to easy weight loss.

Ketosis – what is it?

Experts refer to it as ketosis Process by which the body switches from burning carbohydrates to burning fat. This is favored by a protein-rich diet. However, amino acids in proteins can be converted to glucose by the body, which in turn can disrupt ketosis. A high-protein diet can therefore stand in the way of boosted fat burning and make permanent weight loss more difficult.

Not so the keto diet. If you want to lose weight with this diet, doesn’t need to cut back on fat or calories. It is likely that the reduced hunger will further reduce the weight. In three years we will know more. This study is the first in a series of five studies. It will be completed in 2021 and the secret of the ketone diet will be revealed.
