The meaning of Mother’s Day – that is the thought behind the day of honor

Basically, the meaning behind Mother’s Day is actually honorable. But even if Mother’s Day is occasionally criticized and not without justification, this day of honor is celebrated every year.

• As the name Day of Honor suggests, mothers should be honored on this day. On their day of honor, the mothers are thanked for their love, care and, last but not least, for the work they do around the clock to look after their children.
• The tables are therefore often turned on Mother’s Day. The mothers can make themselves comfortable and let themselves be pampered. It is also customary to surprise mothers with flowers and other small things on Mother’s Day.
