Out of 125 grams of sugar, 250 grams of flour, 150 grams of cold butter, an egg and two packets of vanilla sugar as well as an egg yolk can you approximately 30 wonderful Easter cookies conjure.
Our step-by-step Easter baking instructions:
First you form a mound of flour on the work surface – then put the two types of sugar and the egg in a small hollow. On the flour comes the butter, which you cut into small pieces.
Then you knead the ingredients together into a crumbly dough – then process it further into a smooth mass. Form the dough into a ball and let it rest in the fridge for a little over 30 minutes.
Then you take half of the dough – the rest goes back in the fridge – and roll it out on a floured work surface. Now grab your favorite cookie cutters and get started! After cutting out, place your different Easter biscuits on baking paper. Easter shapes such as rabbits, eggs, chicks or sheep are best suited – but spring shapes such as flowers or suns also look pretty.
Before you bake the Easter cookies for ten minutes on the middle rack at 180 degrees, brush them with egg yolk. To ensure that the cookies not only taste good but also look good, you can decorate them with icing, pearls and sprinkles as you wish.
